Bio

A1 first demonstrated her lightning quickness and agility at an early age, dominating her karate class and getting a black belt at the tender age of 9. Next she tackled softball and rocked that as well. In fact, she was very nearly sucked into what would certainly have been a lucrative college softball career. Luckily, UC San Diego Psycho managed to get her on the ultimate field. Once A1 made a couple of devastating deep cuts and felt the disc spin into her hands, she was hooked. As a sophomore superstar, A1 was a major part of UCSD's 2002 National victory.

A1 played with Safari from 2001 to 2003, striking fear into her opponents' hearts with her unstoppable cuts and ridiculous grabs. She started playing with Fury in 2004 and over the past five years has cemented her roll as one of Fury's go-to receivers. Her combination of strength, agility, and wily field sense allow her to dominate downfield. A1 is a tenacious defensive player, able to both stifle throwers in the cup and shut her woman down in the cutting lanes.

Off the field, A1 is on the road to becoming a doctor. Along the way, she enjoys baking banana bread, sleeping in laundry rooms, and doing the worm on the dance floor.
