Bio
Nancy "Sunshine" Sun walked into tryouts this year and belonged from the start. Having come from being a pivotal player on the quick rising team Brute Squad, we expected a good player, but found a stellar one.
Nancy began her frisbee career in high school when her friend invited her to play. It soon became a choice between this new sport and softball, her sport of choice at the time. Choosing fun and friends over makeup and standing around....hmmm...Turns out THAT puzzle wasn't too challenging for out wise one.
Nancy brought that sagaciousness to MIT, where she played frisbee from 2000-2005. In 2002 Nancy and a few others decided to start a new club team in Boston. Brute Squad was born. By 2005, with the help of Nancy's play and leadership the team had made quarterfinals of Nationals, and in 2006 and 2007, they made the semifinals.
In 2008 Nancy made a career leap and moved to the Bay Area for work. Voila! There was Fury and the O squad, waiting for Nancy and her sick inside out forehand hucks!! With said hucks, a high frisbee IQ, and a constant drive to compete and improve, Nancy is a key contributor to our offense.
