Bio
It's a bird, it's a plane, no wait... it's Enessa skying someone again. It's a very familiar site on the field, and one that anyone ever matched up against her has probably experienced first hand. However, there's a lot more to "E" than just ridiculous speed and hops. Did you know that she was once in a Mariachi band? No joke.
Enessa started playing ultimate as a freshman at Stanford, where she was invited to join in at practice, and has been hooked ever since. This is also where she met Gwen Ambler, who has been her teammate, coach, mentor, and friend, and is who taught her what it means to love frisbee. Prior to ultimate, E's primary sport was swimming, where she competed year round with a club team as well as her high school team. She also competed in track, lacrosse and field hockey, so you might say she's a bit of a jock.
In addition to earning the Most Valuable Offense and Most Valuable Defense awards for Fury, in her spare time, Enessa is still drawn back to the water, whether it be surfing, diving, swimming, tidepooling, or underwater basketweaving (I think they really do have that class at Stanford). Above all, however, Enessa is an awesome teammate. You can always hear her voice on the sideline cheering you on, and she is always full of encouragment, and never fails to do something to fire you up.
