Bio
Off the field, you may recognize her as that chick on your UPA membership card. On the field, she's the one who just broke you... again. Julie Baker began her college athletic career as a Stanford water polo player. Later, realizing that public school and dry land were better, she moved to Davis and began playing ultimate for the Pleiades*.
2008 marks Julie's seventh year playing for fury. These days, don't expect to stop her high-release backhands, inside-out forehands, or picture-perfect hucks - just give her a good stall count and be happy that she didn't throw it through your legs.
Julie likes soil, beer, and the color blue. she is also an avid puzzler.
*in 2004, baker helped lead UCDavis to its first ever college women's national championship.
