Manu was a superstar on the European circuit before she left Italy for the East Bay, and we sure are lucky to have her on our side. After playing for a year on Home Brood, Manu joined Fury in 2006 and has been an impact player for us from the start. She epitomizes grace while on the field, using her speed and explosiveness to lead the team in lay-out blocks while also throwing the disc with precision and confidence. As a defensive force, Manu often gets some of the most difficult defensive match-ups against our opponents' top receivers and Manu has consistently proven that she can effectively take some of the best players in the world out of the game. On offense, Manu's hucks add a new dimension to our downfield line-up as she can gain yards for us with both her cuts and her throws. You can pick out Manu either by her #88 jersey (when she's off the field) or by her stylish scarves and outfits (when she's not playing). No matter the setting, Manu is a quiet person who takes her team and friendships seriously.
