Beginning/Intermediate Women's Clinics
Fury is going to host clinics for beginners and intermediate Women's Ultimate frisbee players in the Bay Area. If you've just started playing or have played some league, but want some coaching to help you improve, these clinics are perfect for you! Players with some club experience are also welcome (and we will teach drills that any level of player can benefit from), but the focus of the clinic will be on basic elements of ultimate and giving relatively new players some tools to improve in an un-intimidating environment.
We would love to share some of our favorite drills and review some fundamental offensive and defensive skills. A few examples of things we may cover:
- person-to-person defensive footwork
- person-to-person defensive positioning
- marking fundamentals
- throwing fundamentals
- how to throw farther
- basic horizontal offense strategy
Our goal is to create a fun and supportive learning environment and to help grow the sport that we love so much!
The next clinic will be on Saturday July 16th from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at Gilman Turf Fields in Berkeley.

If you can’t make this time, but would be interested in attending another event like this, please email us to let us know. If there is enough interest we will try to schedule another clinic soon.
In your RSVP, please include a brief description of your background in ultimate (a complete beginner, some amount of league, x years of club, etc). Please also include a list of 2-3 skills you would like to focus on. We can't promise to cover everything people request, but we do want to make sure we're covering anything that is a common priority.
We are asking for a suggested donation of $25 to help support our up-coming season, but we do not want money to preclude anyone from coming. Please come whether or not you can donate.
